Integration Program Manager

Scismic is supporting the growth of a biotech technology company!

We are hiring a few Integration Program Managers to manage projects that deliver high-quality customer implementations of the company's flagship software. This is a highly visible role that requires a blend of technical project management expertise, industry experience and strong interpersonal skills when collaborating with customers and colleagues.


Here are some fun things you'll get to do:

  • Collaborate with internal implementation Field Application Science (FAS), Application Engineering (AE) and Quality teams to deliver agile integrations of our software for laboratory, clinical or manufacturing operations in a variety of settings (i.e.early stage research through commercially viable cell & gene therapy manufacturers)
  • Own all elements of project management lifecycle, including:
    • Become the customer's key point of contact for all aspects of the implementation project while supporting the team in managing scope, change requests and quality 
    • Leading customer meetings (kick-offs, joint steering committees (JSCs), status meetings, etc.)
    • Building, managing, and tracking project plans in JIRA using agile / scrum methodologies
    • Supporting integration teams in facilitation of requirements gathering and the translation of requirements into user stories and JIRA tickets
    • Coordinating and facilitating QA testing and user acceptance testing
    • Gather and mitigate, risks and escalate risks and issues to leadership via internal and external status updates when required
  • Enhancing company relationships with existing customers by:
    • Identifying potential business expansion opportunities across and within organizations
    • Partnering with the implementation team on preparing Statements of Work for upselling and expansion
    • Build and expand knowledge and understanding of laboratory, clinical, manufacturing operations, cell & gene therapy industry trends
    • Advocate for continuous improvement of processes and technology
       
 

What will make you a good fit?

  • Bachelor’s degree (at a minimum) 
  • At least 3 years of technical project management experience, preferably in systems integration
  • Work experience in diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries (at least one of these is a must)
  • Experience with agile, scrum, Kanban or other software development approaches
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Project and/or other project management tools
  • Must have experience in implementing digital transformation projects
  • Exposure to high rate of change and growth environments 
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and deadline-driven customer-facing environment
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to learn complex technical application systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
     
 

What will make you stand out? (aka "these would be a plus!")

  • Relevant experience specifically within scientific, clinical and/or manufacturing environments/industries
  • Specific educational focus or background in life science or business operations
  • Relevant program or project management experience specifically within systems integration
  • Familiarity with life science laboratory operations
  • Experience with software in FDA-regulated environments (GxP, CAP/COLA/CLIA, 21CFR)
